# Swift Printing Business Card AI Guide

Use this guide when creating a standard business card with ChatGPT or another AI design tool.

## Document setup

- Finished size: **3.5 × 2 inches**
- Artwork size including bleed: **3.75 × 2.25 inches**
- Bleed: **0.125 inch on every edge**
- Safe area: Keep names, phone numbers, email addresses, logos, and other important details at least **0.125 inch inside the finished edge**.
- Resolution: **300 DPI or higher**
- Preferred final format: **Print-quality PDF**
- If the card prints on both sides, create separate front and back pages in the same PDF.

## Prompt to copy

Create a professional business-card design at 3.75 × 2.25 inches including bleed. The finished card is 3.5 × 2 inches. Extend all background colors and images through the full bleed area. Keep all important text and logos at least 0.125 inch inside the finished edge. Use a clean, readable layout suitable for professional printing at 300 DPI. Do not add crop marks, mockup backgrounds, hands, tables, shadows, or perspective distortion. Show only the flat business-card artwork.

## Before uploading

1. Check every name, phone number, email address, and website carefully.
2. Make sure small text is easy to read.
3. Confirm the background reaches the outside edge of the bleed area.
4. Export a flat, print-quality PDF when the AI tool supports it.
5. Return to Swift Printing’s business-card page, choose your quantity and options, and upload the file.
